Totally cant play overwatch as everything will freeze and rollback when the spike happens. The spike happens every few minutes i think. Im using Asus AC56, was working great with Win7. You can also open the file with a text editor to see information including device ids, etc the driver covers. I faced this issue after i changed to windows 10. You can right click on it and select the install option to install the driver for Windows 10. Navigate to where you unzipped the files. Click Browse my computer for driver software. The card uses the Broadcom BCM4360 chipset, which I understand is only supported by the wl driver. Currently running kernel 3.14.2 with the broadcom-wl-dkms package installed from AUR. It makes no difference if I follow those steps before or after rebooting. I open the "UT_PCE_AC68_2143" file, then click "UT_PCE_AC68_v2143" inside it. Smooth install and everything is working fine except my internet download speed has slowed to a crawl. The "Intel(R) Ethernet Connection 1217-LM" also gives me a check box option to "Delete the Driver Software for this Device". Upgraded to Windows 10 Creators Update a few days ago. I have narrowed the problem down to ONLY when I am torrenting - doesn't matter what it is, that's the only time I can reproduce the problem. Then check your Wi-Fi status on Network and Sharing center if youre actually getting wireless AC speeds. I began downloading a file, and after about 30 seconds I got the BSOD again. So I bought a brand new copy of Windows 10, reformatted my drive completely, and installed Windows again - only to find that this problem is still occurring!Īfter the reformat, the only driver I installed was for my wifi card, Asus Dual-Band Wireless AC1900, and utorrent. Ive since started to WFH so i had to set up my main pc in a room far enough away that im 'only' getting 130-150 speeds using the 5g network. It was brought to my attention (thanks axe0!) that I was using a pirated version of Windows 10, which I wasn't aware of. My note 9 and S9 both get 200mbps using Fios 200/200 in my living room, 10 ft away from the Fios G1100 router.
